Krausz é uma enfermeira inovadora com excelentes competências interpessoais, que também fez investigação que determinou como a relação de trabalho entre enfermeiros do pessoal e a direcção afectava a percepção de apoio do pessoal. Além disso, possui amplos conhecimentos sobre a criação de políticas e práticas clínicas para hospitais.
Amanda recebeu o seu bacharelato e mestrado em enfermagem da Universidade de Bradley. Recebeu o seu mestrado em administração de empresas com uma concentração em administração de cuidados de saúde da Universidade de Saint Xavier. É membro da Sigma Theta Tau e da Organização de Enfermeiros Líderes de Illinois.
