Deborah Terry, RN MSN

President

Deborah Terry is president of The Nash Group, a leading healthcare advisory and consulting group. She brings more than 30 years of nursing, human resources and consulting know-how and experience to support the company’s operations and clients. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing & psychology from Elmhurst College, and a master’s degree in nursing and healthcare business administration from Xavier University. She has also earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. In addition to her consulting work, Deborah is a member of Lewis University’s Healthcare Leadership Advisory Board, and was appointed to the editorial board of Issues in Health Care Law, Ethics and Regulation. She also served as a grant advisory board member for the Johnson & Johnson Promise of Nursing for Illinois Foundation. Deborah is active in the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration and the Society for Human Resource Management. She is a frequent guest lecturer at Northwestern University in Chicago, has published several articles, including “Effective Employee Relations in Reengineered Organizations” in the Journal of Nursing Administration. In 2012, she was voted Who’s Who in America Entrepreneur of the Year.
